Chambersburg, PA - A Hispanic Business Forum will be held 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 18 in the community room of the Chambersburg Mall.
The forum is sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce.
This is a free workshop designed as a roadmap for current and aspiring business owners. A working lunch is sponsored by Franklin County Area Development Corp.
The forum covers legal requirements for operating a business, appropriate investment opportunities, resources and information about insurance to protect a business, and local banking opportunities and resources to finance the business.
Speakers include Mike Ross, FCADC president; Becky Ables, attorney, Salzmann Hughes; Mary Trinidad, banker, Patriot Federal Credit Union; Maria Hernandez, insurance agent, Nationwide Insurance; and Ericka Nelson, financial adviser, Edward Jones.
