About

Chupacabra started as a popular food truck business selling quick and inexpensive meals to nearby office workers and passing-by tourists.  But if you are hungry and have the time but not much money to eat in an expensive restaurant you should consider Chupacabra as a tasty but affordable option because the only thing that has  changed  is the permanency given by a brick-and-mortar eatery and hence, the convenience to sit down and enjoy a good meal.

Both 14th Street and the Atlas District get new fast-casual spots

Two unaffiliated new taco spots have opened to expand our fast-casual horizons—Chupacabra in the Atlas District, and Taqueria Nacional along the 14th Street corridor. Both are counter-order spots where you can pop in for takeout or grab a seat and linger over lunch and dinner. Even better: $10 will feed you well at both.

Foodcrawling: Washington, D.C.: Chupacabra

Chupacabra started as a food truck but now exists as a brick and mortar spot selling street food. The arepas jamon con queso is a messy option filled with honey ham and gooey cheese stuffed inside thick corn cakes.
