Bóveda is a Latin Speakeasy located in the West End neighborhood of Georgetown inside the Westin Hotel. The word "bóveda" [bo'-vay-dah] means "vault" in Spanish.. It conjures up a clandestine destination for vibrant eclectic music, unique cocktails and inspired Latin American cuisine.

Bóveda - Latin Speakeasy - Washington, DC
Tom Sietsema, The Washington Post | January 30, 2013
It seems everyone wants a swell restaurant that doesn't cost a lot, a place with space for flocks of diners but also with sound levels that don't rival power mowers. Few such spots exist. If the kitchen delivers the goods, people are expected to follow and make merry, right? Bóveda sports the kind of good looks sought out by after-hours worker bees and bachelorette parties alike. Bó Knows - A New Lair of Stone, Steel and Tequila
UrbanDaddy | September 10, 2012

The Caucus Room and Bóveda Are Now Open in the Westin Georgetown
Jessica Voelker, The Washingtonian | September 17, 2012
Back in August, we learned that a second Caucus Room and a Latin-themed "speakeasy-style" bar called Bóveda were quietly in the works at the Westin Georgetown. Both projects—which belong to Larry Work's Longboard Hospitality Group and are overseen by chef Brian Wolken—are now open and serving. The light-filled Caucus Room looks out on the hotel's enclosed patio, where Work says he hopes to do an ice bar come winter. There's a long marble-topped bar for cocktails and a snack. . .
Taste Test: Bóveda
Riley Croghan, | March 5, 2013
Bóveda is a small restaurant tucked within the Westin Georgetown on a block that isn't quite Georgetown, Dupont, or Foggy Bottom, but within easy reach of all those boozy neighborhoods. You might not stumble upon it accidentally, but executive chef Carlos Delgado has created a competent menu that makes it a place well worth seeking out.
